Parent Evening Event Social and Fundraiser -Friday, March 30, 7 p.m. @Pierce School
Join us for a night of music, games, community and fun! Trivia and treasures - play
trivia, bid on teacher treasures auction items or just come by to have a good time. Ask your teacher if they have put an item up for bid - we already have over 12!
Admission is $25 per person in advance; $30 pp at the door.

The 3-6th Grade Musical BEAUTY AND THE BEAST - SOLD OUT THIS MORNING!
HOWEVER, we now have a handful more to sell for Thursday night and both Saturday shows. Friday night's show is completely sold out. If you still need tickets you may go to school tomorrow at 7:45AM when any tickets that remain will be on sale.
If you HAVE EXTRA tickets that you do not need, please take pity on those who would like to see their children perform and sell them back to us ASAP by either contacting Meredith Saillant (dggmls@yahoo.com) or by coming to school tomorrow morning at 7:45AM to sell them back.
In the next few days we hope to have more tickets available through our buy-back program, so if you are unable to procure tickets tomorrow morning, please let Meredith know. It is our hope that everyone can see the shows!

MARCH MADNESS A SUCCESS! THANK YOU!
March Madness was a blast for the more than 200 students that participated!
Thank you to the over 40 Parents, Teens, Teachers and Administrators for volunteering for the events. A special thanks to Bobby Zuker for coordinating this event!
Congratulations to Brian T. for winning the March Math Madness Tournament.
He beat out 27 other 4-6 graders to win the tournament. Frank was the runner up. Also 24 participants completed all ten math challenges provide by Eureka!

Congratulations to all the students who figured out the last Problem of the Week, "March Madness"! If there are 16 basketball teams in four regions and each team plays until they lose one game, then the answer is that there are 63 games in the tournament. We had 85 students submit solutions, with a great showing by third grade! Congratulations 3rd graders, especially 3B! Stop by the Problem of the Week board to see a variety of solutions.

MATH LEAGUE CORNER > 
Post-season Math League practices and meets!
Our "Post-season" Math League practices will meet every Thursday until May 31st, from 7:20-7:55 in the PSED/Spanish space (next to the gym) every Thursday. The sessions will include problems from all 5 topics (bases, geometry, operations, patterns and problem solving). This is open to any interested 4th, 5th or 6th grader.

BROOKLINE PANCAKE BREAKFAST Saturday, March 31, 8am Brookline High School Cafeteria, 115 Greenough Street, Brookline. Tickets are $6/person; children under 5 FREE
ALL YOU CAN EAT pancakes, ham, sausage and more. The Pierce School Extended Day (PSED) will be selling tickets to the Annual Brookline Pancake Breakfast.

STAGE SOUP ANNOUNCES DATES FOR 2012 SUMMER CAMPS! There's a fun and exciting theater camp right in the neighborhood: Stage Soup!
Led by Pierce parent (and director of several Pierce plays) Ryan Bailey, this camp is a great place for your child to be creative and develop theater skills this summer! Students will play drama games, study acting, play outside every day, and put on a show on the final day of camp. The location is Inner Space Annex on Station Street in Brookline Village. Stage Soup camp is a ton of fun! Kids will make new friends, develop confidence and express themselves.
