This month, we announced a groundbreaking venture that promises to redefine the landscape and spirit of our community—the Bridges of Turtle Creek initiative. In collaboration with the Turtle Creek Conservancy (TCC) and the City of Dallas, we at the Turtle Creek Association (TCA) are embarking on a journey not just to aesthetically restore and enhance eight historic bridges but to reinforce and reimagine the connections they facilitate.
Bridges are more than just structures; they are vital arteries that link communities, enhance accessibility, and bridge the gaps between us. The Klyde Warren Deck Park is a prime example of how a bridge can transform its surroundings—connecting Downtown Dallas to Uptown, it has become a vibrant hub of activity, enriching the urban experience and fostering community bonds. Similarly, the Bridges of Turtle Creek initiative aims to provide a seamless visual transition from the bustle of Downtown Dallas and Uptown to the calming, natural beauty and architecture of Turtle Creek, for all to enjoy.

This initiative marks a historic collaboration between TCA and TCC. Working together with the City of Dallas, we are setting a precedent for cooperative impact, leveraging our distinct purposes, shared expertise, and collective visions for the common good.
The potential for positive change through this initiative is immense—not only in terms of aesthetic enhancements and increased connectivity but also in the way it brings our community together. As we work on these bridges, we are also building a stronger, more cohesive future for all who live, work, and enjoy the Turtle Creek area.
The excitement within our two organizations is palpable. We are optimistic about the prospects and believe that the Bridges of Turtle Creek will leave a lasting legacy, enriching our community for generations to come.
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. We look forward to keeping you informed and engaged as we progress in this monumental endeavor. Together, we are not just addressing old bridges—we are building new pathways to a shared and thriving future.
Warm regards,

Our Ask: Help Us Build—Literally and Figuratively
Above we shared exciting news about a transformative project that will reshape not only our physical landscape, but the way we connect as a community—the Bridges of Turtle Creek initiative.
This bold initiative is about more than concrete and steel. It’s about connection, community, and legacy. It marks a powerful collaboration between two longtime stewards of Turtle Creek—TCA and TCC—coming together to create meaningful, lasting impact.
But we won't be able to do it without you. This project is your opportunity to be part of something truly enduring. Your support will help us preserve the charm of our neighborhood, improve accessibility, and build a stronger, more connected Turtle Creek for generations to come.
Whether you’ve lived here for years or simply admire the beauty of Turtle Creek, your contribution can help shape the future of this beloved area.
If you’re interested in supporting the Bridges of Turtle Creek initiative, please contact us at 214-526-2800 or visit our website to make a donation.
Together, we’re not just restoring bridges—we’re building a brighter, stronger future for our community.

On March 6th, the Turtle Creek Association held its Annual Meeting in the beautiful Turtle Room at the 3525 Condominiums, graciously hosted by Janice Dobson. This member-exclusive event was well attended and featured a special appearance by leadership from the Turtle Creek Conservancy, who joined us to speak about our exciting joint initiative—The Bridges of Turtle Creek.
The meeting focused on three key objectives:
- A review of TCA’s 2024 financial results and the impact we’ve made in the community,
- A presentation of our 2025 plans and initiatives, and
- An engaging Q&A session to hear directly from our members—what’s working well and what areas need attention moving forward.
Guests enjoyed a lively evening of thoughtful conversation, shared vision, and delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by Preston Hollow Catering.

TCA Welcomes New Team Members
We are excited to welcome two new contract employees to the Turtle Creek Association team—Brigitte Chorey and Lillianne Stanford.

Brigitte Chorey joins us as Director of Membership and Grant Development. Brigitte brings a wealth of experience from her recent role at Vizient, where she served as Associate Vice President of Strategic Sourcing Partnerships and Programs. Her background and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow and strengthen our membership base and funding opportunities. Outside of work, Brigitte enjoys spending time on the bench, swimming, weight training, and practicing yoga.

Lillianne Stanford steps into the newly created role of social media and website manager. With this position, we aim to expand TCA’s presence and engagement, particularly with a younger demographic. Many of you may remember Lillie from her internship with TCA two summers ago, and we’re thrilled to have her back on board. She has a passion for working in the nonprofit space and brings fresh energy and creativity to our digital communications.
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Brigitte and Lillie!
