It's a new day at Bridgewood Farms!

Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read our first e-newsletter. We hope this becomes a regular source of information and inspiration for you as we share about all that's going on at The Farm.

I began working at Bridgewood Farms on March 1. It has been the best kind of whirlwind over the past 4 months. We have seen many changes and shifts and I'm excited about where we are going!

We are adding to our team!

We are beyond grateful for our staff and have made some shifts and promotions throughout. We are hiring additional staff for both classroom and residential settings.

We are investing in our programs!

Bridgewood Farms has been serving clients and families for nearly 60 years. We have always offered programs that teach, encourage, and support clients but we are finding new ways to improve and serve our clients. We're excited to be starting new programs for daily life skills that will help clients grow in independence and ability.

We are revamping our horticulture program and will soon have a new curriculum that allows our clients to be involved in full cycles of planting, growing, and harvesting fruits, vegetables, plants, and flowers. The new format will provide many more opportunities for therapeutic activity, volunteer involvement, and community engagement, while also strengthening our partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife. This will bring new life to our greenhouses and grounds. We are even exploring the possibility of adding an agriculture program in the future!

We are engaging the community!

More than just a new logo and signage, Bridgewood Farms is changing how we share the work of Bridgewood with others. We are telling everyone that it's an exciting season of growth and impact, and we are inviting others to join us!

Our new website will help new clients, donors, and volunteers better engage with us. A new approach to communication will help us stay connected to each of our supporters and families.

We are preparing for great things!

In addition to adding new staff and improving our operations, we are also getting The Farm ready for growth. We are excited to share more details about an incredible building project which will transform our facilities and take us into a new season of serving clients and families. We can't wait to tell you more!

So, as I said, it's been the best kind of whirlwind over the past 4 months. I am grateful to be caught up in all the good work of Bridgewood Farms and honored to serve our clients, families, and supporters for years to come.

Talk to you soon!
