Temporary Bridge Shelter Closes
The Temporary Bridge Shelter, a 30-day low-barrier shelter that served both as a bridge to resources and a temporary living space for those experiencing unsheltered homelessness, has officially closed.

Over the 30 day period, 165 clients were served, including 14 veterans. 104 clients exited to either emergency shelter or transitional housing, permanent housing, or a boarding/rooming house. We will have more information available on the final outcomes of this project in the near future.

Free Tax Filing Assistance for Veterans
Last chance!

The City of Jacksonville is still offering free tax filing for veterans through the extended filing deadline, May 17th, 2021. United Way of Northeast Florida also continues to offer tax filing assistance for those experiencing homelessness.

The Northeast Florida Continuum of Care began as a grassroots effort with passionate community and religious leaders guiding the way. And we've made substantial progress.

If you care about homelessness and want to be a part of the solution, please join us.

The general membership meets monthly via Zoom. Email us for more information.
