What will it take?
“Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My word.” (John 8:43)
What will it take for us to hear God‘s word? What will it take for us to understand God's word? What will it take for us to do things God's way, for God's way is always the best way!

For far too long, man has tried it his way and failed. Jonah tried it his way by running away and found himself in the belly of a whale. Samson tried it his way and found himself in the arms of the enemy. Paul before he met Jesus tried it his way and found himself persecuting Christians instead of preaching to them. Any way other than God’s way is bound to fail and miss the mark.

Let's face it, there is only one way and that’s the Lord's way. We all should be tired of being sick and tired. Aren’t you tired of “kicking against the goads” which becomes an exercise in vanity that is futile and pointless? One’s resistance, rebellion and rejection against the Lord’s ways, always have us on the short end of the stick and in a losing battle.

When are we going to start listening, paying attention and doing things the Lord’s way? When it comes to the Lord we need to be patient and to trust the process. We need to stop getting in His way and start letting Him have His way every day!

As long as we live in this world, unrest will always exist, if we continue to fail in submitting and surrendering our all to God. Man has yet to learn the lessons of the past.  He always thinks he has a better way, a better answer, and better solutions to the world’s problems, only to find them short of God's glory and short of his own goal.

Haven't we seen enough, heard enough, and experienced enough to know in life that man’s way never come close or can be compared to the ways of God? (Isiah 55: 8)

All the ruckus, protest and riots going on these days will never end until people all over the world start taking God’s word seriously, religiously, and faithfully. We will never see lasting and meaningful change until everyone believes in Christ, follows Christ and lives for Christ!

So what will it take? It will take every living soul to acknowledge and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It will take the Lord’s healing power to heal the broken hearted.  Just as hurt people hurt people, it's just as true that healed people help heal other people. It will take divine intervention over a man’s good intention. It will take a whole lot of forgiveness and willingness.  It will take much prayer and fasting.  It will take all the children of God to come out of their comfort zones and go into those spiritual war zones assisting God in the fight against the sins and injustices of the world.

It will take you to do what God called you to do! Don't wait for others.  Don't depend on others.  Don't look to others. Always look to God for your direction, correction and protection!
