Hello TBLS Discipuli and Families,
Welcome back and Happy New Year! We hope you had a restful and rejuvenating winter break.
As we get closer to the end of the semester, you will see more and more internships, volunteer and summer opportunities appearing. Keep your eyes peeled!
Weekly Counseling Tips:
For this week's tip, in the spirit of the New Year, we bring to you a link to some very useful resolutions for your family-to help manage screen and social media time. The suggestions are brought to you by Common Sense Media, a media education and advocacy group for families. They suggest helping your kids view their media usage with a critical eye, creating a plan that sets limits on the amount of time spent consuming media, and encouraging your kids to use media for informal learning. Take a look
here
.
Stay tuned for more tips from the Counseling Corner!
Sincerely,
Ms. Teslik and Ms. McCaughey
