Thank you to all families who have completed the lunch form either online or by submitting the paper copy.  Over 250 families have completed the form online.  There are still 140 families who are still to complete the form. Completion of the lunch form tells us if we are to receive any Title I funds. The state cannot determine
funding unless the entire student body has a form on file. You can opt to not give any information if you prefer to remain private, but each family will need to complete a form.

To complete the form online, please click link below.

Posse Finalists
Four of our class I discipuli have made it into the final round of Posse this year. Please wish them luck in the coming weeks as they enter into the final stage of the process. Students who are selected as Posse Scholars in the final round will be awarded a four year full-tuition scholarship to the partner colleges listed below. We will keep you posted as that information becomes available. Either way it's a great honor to have even made it this far in the process so congratulations to all of them.

On Saturday at 11:30, TBLS faces Lyons in the NYSAA Championship game, a rematch from last year.  I'll be leaving Windsor Terrace at 10:30, if anyone would like a ride.

Key-Club's Pie-TASTING contest
On Monday, November 23 after school, The Brooklyn Latin Key Club will be holding a pie-tasting contest. Students will pay a small fee to taste a sampling of pies, and then will vote on which they like the best. The money will be donated to a charity that the Key Club students vote on.
We are hoping to have students, parents and teachers donate pies for the cause. If you are interested in making a pie, or have any questions, please email Amy Mogulescu, Key Club Advisor, at amogulescu@brooklynlatin.org, to let me know that you're interested. All kinds of pies are welcome--if you have a special recipe, please feel free to bake and share!
