Thank you! Todah Rabah!
The Days of Awe are Approaching and we want you to join us!

We are already in the middle of Elul and the daily blast of the Shofar is waking us up to be ready for the High Holy Day season. There are two family friendly opportunities we want to put on your radar screens.

The first is a very special beginning to the season with our own Noa Baum at our S'lichot Services. This lovely evening service is accessible for people of all ages and Noa's story-telling captivates all listeners. Services are Saturday evening, September 21 at 7:30 PM. If you are not familiar with Noa Baum, you can see more here.

And then, as we look for 3 stars in the sky at the conclusion of Yom Kippur, we'd like to encourage our families to return to Adat Shalom for the Concluding Service, Ne'ilah and the Final Shofar Blast as we fully enter 5780. More details to follow but please consider breaking the fast with your young one's early and joining us.

Just a reminder that information about the Days of Awe -- the High Holidays -- can be found on the Adat Shalom Website.

This includes sign-up pages for erev Rosh Hashanah Dinner, opportunities to volunteer and other programming.
Raise the Roof
If you build it, guests will come! This blank patch of land needs a Sukkah! Come join our team of Sukkah Builders on Sunday, October 6 at 10AM. Bagels and power tools are provided. We welcome anyone and everyone to join us -- fun for all ages. Click here to RSVP and Ralph Nitkin, Sukkah Builder-in-Chief will answer all of your questions!
How Many Kippot were there?

Mazal Tov to Nora Seiden (Kitah Gimel) and Aaron Amdur-Kass (Kitah Hey) for their very close guesses as to the number of kippot game at our Torah School Celebration Picnic! The correct number was 108! Come claim your prize this Shabbat -- and don't worry -- we're not sending you home with all those kippot!!
