Hot Trend: Socially-Distanced Retail
Retail trends are showing that many consumers have adapted to the "new normal" as a result of COVID-19, and surprisingly many are looking to carry on with their newly acquired shopping habits.
As one article states, "For almost 57% of Americans, a local business’ pandemic-friendly services, including curbside pickup, local delivery and contactless payment, led them to purchase goods or services from a local business for the first time. And of this number, 92% said they were likely to return to this business after the pandemic."
In addition to the above, there has also been much more interest in businesses continuing to offer direct communications via text messaging.
