Teens in the Drivers Seat is a national peer to peer safe driving campaign.  MP joined the National Teens in February 2017, several months after other contending schools.  Despite late entry, student efforts placed MP as an Outstanding School.  The student representatives have hosted a number of activities to raise awareness of teen driving distractions.  MP ZERO Crazy data collection for student drivers at MP showed that 12% of students were distracted by the cell phones while driving.  This month we will be asking students to sign the safe driving pledge to reduce preventable injuries and deaths associated with distracted teen driving.
