and compared its anatomy 
to the anatomy of a human.

Adopt-A-Student Christmas program.  We currently have 97 students
 who will receive Christmas because of the program!

The Ten Tenors held a master class for MP Chorus members and 
a select group of 27 women got the opportunity to perform four songs 
as an opening act to their concert this past weekend. The group included the following: Olivia Welch, Heather Tillman, Anabel Storey, Catherine Stevick, Angelique Brown, Natalie Pippin, Julia Rainey, Basia McBride, 
Ava Phillips, Ridley White, Abby Hodges, Meghan Bennett, Abby Ivey, 
Ansley Lawson, Kailee Joyner, Alyssa Green, Jada Freeman, Madison Collins, Mackenzie Pye, Juliann Stevenson, Emily Joseph, A'Kendia Alford, Emma Heath, 
Heaven Taylor, Lauren Abrams, Nazari Jackson, and Abi Wilks. 
Percussionists included  Maci Joiner,  Bethany Maddox, and  Ryan Arnold.

State Champions in Junior Environmental and Natural Resources Career Development Event:  Nadya Bauman,  Zac Acosta- 4th Overall Individual,  Thomas Brooks,  Cameron Sparks(not pictured)- Highest Individual Score in State

The Junior ENR CDE' s purpose is to foster student interest, promote environmental and natural resource instruction in the agricultural education curriculum and provide recognition for those who have demonstrated skills and competencies as a result of environmental and natural resource instruction. Students must demonstrate knowledge of using a GPS and identify various plants, trees, and wildlife species important to Georgia.  

State Runner-Up in Senior Environmental and Natural Resources Career Development Event:  Jacob McGouirk-3rd Overall Individual,  Dravin Bennett, 
Kaitlyn Shields,  Caitlin Ham- 4th Overall Individual

The Senior  Environmental and Natural Resources Career Development Event (CDE)  provides competing students an opportunity to gain awareness and demonstrate knowledge in areas that affect our air, soil and water. It tests their knowledge in natural resources that are specific to Georgia. Competitors identify various native plants and wildlife species, interpret data, use measuring devices in the field and work through real-life scenarios involving environmental threats in pursuit of scoring the highest as a team and individual.
