MP Profile
Meet Chelsie Metcalf!  She is in her fourth year as and English teacher at MP. When asked what she likes best about her job, she said "I like that I get to share my passion for life and literature and do what I love every single day." Her hobbies include going to concerts, reading, traveling, singing, and making people happy. If she could go back in time, she would want to live out her 20's in the 1920's - "flapper dresses are my favorite!" When asked what she would do with the extra time if she did not have to sleep, she said "I feel like I never sleep!" When people come to her for help, they need help with homework, or with organizing. The person who has influenced her life the most is her dad. "I'm a carbon copy of my Daddy, and I couldn't be more proud." Homework, her neighbor's kids, and FRIENDS reruns keep her up at night. She also teachers at a correctional facility.  She also stated that she is addicted to McDonald's sweet tea, and she wishes someone would buy her a English Spaniel Puppy.

Adopt-A-Senior 2018 is a new program sponsored by the Bulldog Blessings.

Senior year is expensive, and we're asking our local organizations, groups and citizens to chip in and adopt some of our seniors who are in need of support. Our goal is that ALL MP Grads experience the full memory of their senior year and don't have to skip out on any activities due to cost.

Attention Seniors
The FAFSA┬« is the application that students must complete to apply for federal student aid, which can be used to attend an eligible college or career school. Federal student aid includes Federal Pell Grants, federal student loans, and work-study opportunities. In addition to determining eligibility for federal student aid, many states, private organizations, colleges, and career schools rely on information from the FAFSA to determine eligibility for nonfederal sources of aid.

ALL students must complete this form regardless of parent income.  The 2018 FAFSA application is now open.
