Exam Schedule
Track & Field Athletes Place at State

The track and field team finished their season at the State Championships this past weekend at Berry College in Rome, GA.   The Lady dogs finished 8th overall.  

Olympia High is the 4A State Champion in the 300 Meter Hurdle. Olympia also placed 5th in the triple jump and 4th in the 100 meter hurdles.

Carson Dingler is the 4A State Champion in Pole Vault.    

Morgan Haney placed 10th in the 800 meter run and 12th in the 1600 meter.  

Jomari Jackson had a strong finish and placed 3rd in the 200 meter run.   

Lawson Weldon placed 10th in the 800 meter run and 13th in the 1600 meter run. 

TJ Williams placed 16th in the 3200 meter run.  

Congratulations Senior Dogs!!!  

Report Card Distribution
Students who would like a paper copy of their 2016-17 report card mailed to their home address, should bring in a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the front office by May 26, 2017.  Report cards will be mailed on June 1st to students who bring an envelope.

For those not mailed home, report cards may be picked up in the MPHS main office on Monday, June 5 - Thursday, June 8 from 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-4: 00.
Obtaining Your License Over Summer?
Any student who wishes to obtain their driver's 
license during the summer months MUST request 
an enrollment letter and an ADAP certificate.

Attention Seniors
Seniors that have participated in MOWR (including core college classes and 3rd year healthcare classes) during any year of high school will need to make sure that their college transcript, in addition to their high school transcript, is sent to the college that they will be attending. College admissions and registration will be placed on hold until the college receives both transcripts.  Links to request college transcripts are listed below.

Musical Theater Class News

Try-outs for possible placement in next year's Musical Theater class will be held on Wednesday, May  17  beginning at  3:10 p.m.  in the Chorus Room. Please prepare to sing a 1 minute excerpt from a song of your choice that highlights your vocal and acting strengths. You must provide an accompaniment sound file or CD.

A sign-up sheet is placed outside of Mr. Hernandez and Ms. Spires' doors. Audition to join the fun adventure of acting, singing and dancing!!

Best Buddies News

On Wednesday, May 10 Best Buddies members gathered for their final social of the school year to honor the class of 2017. Members enjoyed hanging out together, eat cake, and playing some games. Outgoing Chapter President Anna Helen McKelvey presented gifts to each graduating Buddy. The Class of 2017 will be missed. Best Buddies thanks you for the impact you've made in our community for social inclusion and wishes you all the best!!

Media Center Offers Extended Hours

Both Campuses - Open Daily until 3:45.

Freshman Campus Media Center - Open Tuesdays until 4:00

Main Campus Media Center - Open Thursdays until 4:30

Students who wish to take advantage of the extended time 
must  arrive  to the Media Center after the dismissal bell rings.
