Author Visit

Nadine Levitt, author of Inside Me Lives a Village , visited the PreK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades on Wednesday. This delightful book empowers children to identify, acknowledge and direct the many feelings that live inside them.

Next Safe Environment Class Announced

The next Safe Environment class at St. Norbert Parish is set for Monday night, December 2 nd  at 7:00PM .  Please register at virtus.org. You must have all clearances including this class in order to volunteer and chaperone field trips.

From one Holiday to the next! There is no rest for our continuing piano students! They are gearing up for the piano recital! Come join us at Saints Philip and James School on Friday, November 22 for an evening of beautiful music. All are welcome! New students will have their first recital in spring of 2020.

Raise the Woof Holiday Extravaganza

Santa is welcoming the Saint Norbert’s Community members who Hop, Fly, Slither, or use 4 Legs at the “Raise the Woof Holiday Extravaganza” . The event will be held at Dr. McGrath’s (Zoey, 3 rd  Grade) East Bradford Veterinary Hospital on November 30th from 1 - 4 PM. The event will include lots of tasty treats, a popcorn machine, warm drinks, time with Santa, and a chance for smaller family members to explore a working Vet Hospital. Students will get the opportunity to see an X-ray room, Surgical Suite, and Treatment rooms up-close! Bring your non-human family member, and maybe spark your own future Veterinarian!

Wild About Weather

Have you ever seen golf ball –sized hail? Watched a lightning bolt slam into a tree and burn it to the ground? Sound scary? Not if you are prepared! Join us to learn all about weather. You, the meteorologist, will create and use your own weather station to predict changes in the weather. Construct a barometer to track air pressure changes, simulate a weather front, calculate
wind speeds and make a tornado in a bottle. The forecast is all fun!

Science Explorers is an after school club which meets on Wednesdays in the Science Lab from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. It is open to all children from 1st - 5th Grade. The next session,  "Wild About Weather" begins on  Wednesday, December 11th.

Girls On The Run

Girls in 3rd - 5th grades, of all abilities, are invited to participate in Girls On The Run, sponsored by the Positive Youth Development Program. This after school program focuses on self-confidence, building relationships, and increasing physical activity while learning important life skills such as managing emotions, resolving conflict and intentional decision making . The season culminates with a celebratory 5K event. Registration opens November 1st - December 13th,
