It’s hard to believe it, but April vacation is almost here! We hope everyone is looking forward to some time to recharge before we head into the final stretch of the school year.

We also want to share some great news: several PTO Board positions for next year have already been filled—thank you to those who have stepped up! We're in great shape, but there are still two key positions open that we’d love to fill with enthusiastic volunteers: Secretary and Events Chair. Both of these positions are key to the continued success of our PTO, and we’d love to have your energy and ideas on board. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to Sanborn, these roles offer a fantastic way to get involved in our school community!

Sanborn is Planning

a New Playground!

At last month's Talent Show, we were thrilled to unveil the design concepts for the new Sanborn Playground! If you didn’t get a chance to check them out, take a peek below and don’t worry—these posters will be on display at the school this spring. This new playground isn’t just about creating a fun space for our students to play; it’s about providing a place for them to grow, connect, and build lasting memories with friends.

We’re looking for a small group of dedicated volunteers to help with seeking grants and rallying support from the community. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with Mrs. Fawcett, the Sanborn PTO, the Colleen E. Ritzer Memorial Fund, and Andover’s Facilities Department as we bring this exciting project from concept to reality. If you have skills in fundraising and advocacy, this could be for you!

We will have a special tent at the upcoming Step Up for Colleen 5K Walk/Run (there's still time to join Sanborn's team!)—a wonderful opportunity to share info on the new Sanborn Playground with the broader community. We hope you’ll stop by to say hello!
