Buckle up, friends! We've got a busy few weeks ahead of us!

From spirit wear to fifth grade celebrations, spring events are blooming at Sanborn. Keep reading for important dates and details on all our upcoming activities.

Together, your participation and support bring our school community to life–let's enjoy every moment!

Spring Explorations Registration is OPEN!

We are thrilled to offer an action-packed Spring session of Explorations including opportunities for our Sanborn children to play, create, and learn!

Registration began on March 11th at 7pm and will close on March 25th at 7pm
Click on the names of each Exploration at the link below for more information and the link to register
Classes will begin the week of March 31st
Most classes run for 6 weeks with a few exceptions - please check the dates when you register
Morning Classes will run from 8:00-8:45am
Students signed up for a morning Exploration who attend Kids Care should have a dismissal note to leave Kids Care at 8:00am
Afternoon Classes will run from 3:45-4:30pm
Students signed up for an afternoon class must notify teachers through PickUpPatrol. Please also pack an afternoon snack
There will be no afternoon classes held on half days
If there should be a snow day or delayed opening on a scheduled class day, the class will be made up at the end of the session

Sanborn Star Party

Join us for a magical evening of stargazing at the Sanborn playground as volunteers from the North Shore Amateur Astronomy Club bring their telescopes for all to enjoy!

🔭 What: Free stargazing event for Sanborn families

🗓️ When: Monday, March 31st

⏰ Time: Starting at 7:30 PM

📍 Where: Sanborn playground

🌧️ Rain/cloudy date: Thursday, April 3rd

Suggested viewing schedule to ensure everyone gets telescope time:

Grades K-1: 7:30 PM

Grades 2-3: 7:50 PM

Grades 4-5: 8:10 PM

This free, educational event is perfect for curious minds of all ages! No registration required - just show up and explore the wonders of the night sky with us!

Dine for Dollars with Bertucci's!

Our friends at Bertucci's have offered the Sanborn Community a chance to raise funds for the PTO while also enjoying their delicious pizza (and let's be honest, the bread rolls, too)! 🍕🥗🥖

On the half day, April 9th, just bring this flyer (or use code FUNDRAISER when ordering online) to any Bertucci's restaurant in order to donate 15% of the proceeds to the Sanborn PTO.

Take a night off from cooking to support our amazing community!

A Fifth Grade Tradition

🌟 Sanborn Under the Stars! 🌟

All Sanborn 5th graders are invited to attend 'Sanborn Under the Stars,' our annual 5th Grade Social on April 11th at 6:00-8:00 PM at Sanborn.

Students will enjoy music and fun together, as they prepare for their journey to Middle School. There is no formal dress code, but students are welcome to dress to impress if they so choose!
