Buckle up, Bulldogs! We've got a busy few weeks ahead of us!

From the Talent Show to the Playground Gala, spring events are blooming at Sanborn. Keep reading for important dates and details on all our upcoming activities.

Together, your participation and support bring our school community to life–let's enjoy every moment!

The Sanborn Playground Gala is right around the corner! We are really looking forward to getting dressed up for a good cause on Friday, March 27th from 7-11pm at the Andover Country Club.

The PTO needs $50,000 in hand at the Annual Town Meeting on April 28th in order for the first part of our construction project to begin. With this date getting closer and closer, it is imperative that we come together for our students to create a playground that will be enjoyed by Bulldogs for years to come!

Can't make the gala but want to donate towards the new playground? You can donate (and please encourage others to, as well!) below.

We are inviting families to send in short video messages sharing some insight into your student's playground experience. Videos can be 10–20 seconds long and recorded horizontally on a phone or tablet. Feel free to film at home, on the playground, in the classroom, or anywhere at school.

One thing to ask your student one of these prompts:

  • "If you could have one thing in a new playground, what would it be?
  • "What is your favorite thing about our playground?"
  • "Why is playing outside important to you?"

These videos will be combined into a short montage and played at our Gala on March 27th to help support our playground fundraising campaign.

How to Submit Your Video:

Please send your video to pto@sanbornpto.net by Monday March 16th.

Thank you for helping us show why our school is such a special place to learn, play, and grow!

We are so excited to see everyone on Thursday night at the Talent Show!

The show begins at 6:00 pm.

Sidney's Rainbows Spring Running Programs

Rainbow Runners is our program tailored to younger runners in elementary school or entering K in 2026. This program is for casual runners and focuses on fun and active play mixed into a run session. Rainbow Runners can choose to attend on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons.

Rainbow Track Club is our program designed for older elementary and middle school runners who enjoy running and want a short structured workout. We will work hard and play hard. These sessions will be on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday afternoons with a mix of locations and styles of workouts. Students can attend one or up to three sessions a week. We want to keep it flexible to fit what works best for each runner and their family. We are a USATF certified youth club so athletes will have the option to attend local USATF track meets if they would like. There are meets in May and June.

Best of all you can feel good about these programs, as 100% of the revenue goes to support our nonprofit, the Rainbow Fund to fight for safe streets and give every child the freedom to move.

Registration and additional details can be found at: https://www.therainbow.fund/running.

Finally, we want everyone to have the freedom to run. If your runner needs a scholarship, please reach out to Coach Mary Beth (marybeth.ellis@gmail.com).
