What are the red flags of an unhealthy relationship?   Norse Against Sexual Assault and Luther Wellness asked students for their answers to that question. Answers are displayed on flags, along the sidewalk in Bentdahl Commons. Confidential help is available for anyone experiencing dating abuse through  Helping Services , an off-campus advocacy group, or through on-campus resources including Counseling , Health Service , and College Ministries

Religion Forum: "Robots and Religion: Challenges, Risks, and Opportunities" Thursday, Oct. 24, 7 p.m. in the Center for Faith and Life, Recital Hall.  What role do robots and technology play in religion? That’s the question  Ilona Nord  will be answering. Nord teaches religious education and didactics of religious education at the University of Würzburg. Her lecture will explore the use of internet and artificial intelligence in religious services, including the recent ordination of a robot priest in Kyoto, Japan. A reception to follow in Qualley Lounge.

The Registrar's Office will be closed Thursday, Oct. 24 and Friday, Oct. 25 as staff will be attending the Midwest Ellucian Client Association Conference.

Chapel is held at 10:30 a.m. in the Center for Faith and Life, Main Hall. Built into the class schedule and rhythm of life at Luther, Chapel is a time for the community to gather for song, reflection and fellowship at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Faculty, staff, students and guests serve as speakers, musicians and artists.

LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE! Oct. 18 is the due date for books checked out from the Main Stacks by students on or before Sunday, Oct.13. Books may be renewed once online or by bringing them in physically to the circulation desk if you have exceeded the renewal limit. The new due date is Dec. 13, the last day of the Fall Term. Click on "Library Account" online at   http://www.luther.edu/library/ , and sign in with your NorseKey to see what you have checked out and when it is due.

Autographed Books in the Book Shop - If you missed the Rebecca Traister, Farwell Distinguished Lecture, on Oct. 10 we have autographed copies available for purchase. 

“Decoding the Driftless,” an award-winning adventure documentary film about the Driftless Region, will be screened on Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m., in Olin 102. A brief Q+A with George Howe, the producer of the film, will follow the sixty-minute film. The screening is open to the public with no charge for admission. 

SAC Cinema presents Us , from the mind of visionary director Jordan Peele. Showing Friday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Valders 206. Accompanied by her husband, son and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, the family is horrified to learn that each attacker takes the appearance of one of them. Doors open 7 p.m. Free with CAF or $5 without. Free popcorn while supplies last!
