This is my Hartford
Michael Acosta

"Along with my business partners, I’ve made an investment in Hartford to provide a space where people find themselves surrounded by good people, art, and music. Story and Soil embodies this effort to celebrate those who make Hartford vibrant, diverse, and exciting," explained co-owner Michael Acosta.
Hartford History
Julio's Historical Hartford

The world's first pay phone was invented by William Gray in 1889, and installed on the corner of Main Street and State Street in Hartford. Featured on the show Pawn Stars, there is a plaque there today.

Check out the blueprints from the patent application, and see the plaque close up at the Smithsonian.
