Honoring OC Housing Hall of Famers
With supply and range of housing for the workforce as one of the Council’s core initiatives, it’s good news when three of the five California Homebuilding Foundation 2022 Hall of Fame Inductees are industry heroes from Orange County. Class of 2022 inductees included former Council President and CEO Lucy Dunn, Vice President of Brookfield Properties Development, a Council investor, John Norman, and Founder and Chair Emeritus Emile Haddad of FivePoint Holdings, LLC, also a Council investor. Congratulations to our OC heroes and all building industry heroes.

Successful Family Advocacy Day at CHOC
Orange County Business Council commends the two Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) families who participated in the Speak Now for Kids Family Advocacy Day hosted by the Children’s Hospital Association. CHOC patients Maddy and Sienna and their families participated in virtual meetings with our nation's legislators to highlight the importance of prioritizing children’s healthcare issues and federal programs that support and fund children’s hospitals. Special thank you to Business Council Board Member and immediate past Chair Jena Jensen of CHOC for her efforts to help elevate their voices and change the pediatric healthcare landscape.
