Enterprise Acquisition Class at Rice University’s
Jones Graduate School of Business

Peggy Tate, a broker and a M&A agent in our office, is a regular guest speaker each fall at the Enterprise Acquisition class at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business. This year, due to the pandemic, only 25 of the students in the class could participate in person; all the other student participated using Zoom. To make the experience richer and more complete, the university invested significantly in numerous large monitors and in audio technologies, installed in both the front of the classroom and toward the back, allowing the speaker and the students to all see and hear each other throughout the class. As with previous classes, Peggy said that most of the students indicated they have an interest in owning their own business at some point.
