News and Updates from Bon Air United Methodist Church
Beginning this Sunday, May 16th at 11:15 am, we will return to live, in-person worship in the sanctuary

The 11:15 am start time will provide an opportunity for online Sunday School attendees to participate in their classes and still have time to get to church to worship in person. The service will still be live-streamed; see the link below. The Transitions Service will continue at 9:00 am in the parking lot.

An email was sent out earlier this week to share all of the details regarding our return to in-person worship.

In order to make this return work seamlessly, we are asking for your assistance in serving as Worship Workmates at the 11:15 am service.

Read more here about sharing this gift of your time, or to sign up.

Updated Health / Social Distancing protocols

These guidelines are designed to reduce the spread of disease, and are required by the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church.

•   Wear masks. Masks are required at all times indoors, and while singing outside.
•   Avoid crowding--maintain physical distance of six feet or more between household groups, inside or outside.
•   Stay at home if you are not feeling well. It is a grace-filled activity to seek to protect your fellow BAUMC worshippers.

Several of the updates/changes reference fully vaccinated persons. To be fully vaccinated means that at least two weeks have passed since the person has received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one shot of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
