Principal's Memo

When was the last time you took a moment to read our MCC mission statement?

Rooted in the tradition of St. Francis of Assisi, Melbourne Central Catholic High School is a transformative, college preparatory high school that develops young men and women in an inclusive community to become servant leaders of our global society.

Did you know that our mission statement is posted in every classroom and meeting room? Did you know that our mission statement appears on the agendas and minutes of all our administrative meetings? Did you know this mission statement guides the conversations and decisions at the school?

For us, the mission statement is THE statement of who we are and why we are here. We hope you take the opportunity to read and reflect on how we live it out each day.

Navigating Academic Futures

MCC school counselors assisted our sophomores and juniors this week, guiding them through the online course selection process during their English classes.

The course catalog for the next academic year is accessible below (also available in the Resource Documents section of the FACTS Family Portal).

Course selection requests should be completed by March 15.

Printed copies of all course selections will be sent home for parents to review after spring break. Changes may still be made at that time.

LifeTeen Retreats

📷 Antonio Garcia Martinez '25

MCC juniors and sophomores participated in days of reflection at St. John the Evangelist in Viera. LifeTeen missionaries gave talks, played games, and enjoyed conversation and lunch with our students. The retreats focused on the freedom our students may experience when they commune with God. Humility leads to a healthy relationship with God and others through authentic inclusivity and generosity.
