Cantor Thom King and the Beth El Choir Join the Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church Choir for a Concert
Sunday, May 5 at 3:00 p.m., Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church
Leonard Bernstein’s “Chichester Psalms” will be performed by the combined choirs at Brown Memorial, 1320 Park Avenue, in the Bolton Hill section of Baltimore. The choir will also perform the premiere of Cantor Thom King’s “Psalm 24” as well as C. Hubert H. Parry’s
“I Was Glad.”  This concert celebrates Brown Memorial’s 150th Anniversary.   A reception will follow.

JWV Annual Memorial Flag Project

Volunteers needed! Each year we go out to a number of Jewish cemeteries and place American flags on the graves of our deceased Jewish Veterans. It is a very worthwhile project to assist the aging JWV members who are in their late 80s and 90s and who can no longer carry on this century old tradition themselves. We will meet at Beth El's rear parking lot (outside the school building). 2022 B’nai Mitzvah Date Requests
If your child was born in 2009 and will be having a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at Beth El, you are welcome to submit requested dates for the year 2022. These B’nai Mitzvah dates will be assigned early this summer, and we try to honor your requests. Please know that we will do our best, but cannot guarantee a single Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Submit your 2022 B’nai Mitzvah dates to and indicate if you are requesting a Shabbat morning or Havdallah service.
