CENTER HAPPENINGS

Members enjoyed the August day trip to Clear Springs restaurant and Naegelin's Bakery in New Braunfels. If you have not visited either of these places, they are worth checking out. The historical Clear Springs Hall and Store now houses Clear Springs Restaurant which has preserved the historical atmosphere of the structure and the memory of the early German community. Naegelin's Bakery, a New Braunfels institution for 142 years, serves up delicious sweet treats and is the oldest bakery in Texas.
