The NLRB's Aggressive Stance on Unions
Over the past several months, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has taken a strong stance in supporting the union agenda. In April alone, NLRB General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo asked the board to reconsider cases that limit an employer's ability to (1) discuss the issue of unionization with employees and (2) question whether a majority of employees actually supported unionization.

Starbucks Faces Sanctions for Firing Union Organizers
A federal regulator has sided with Starbucks employees in their claim the coffee giant fired seven baristas in Tennessee as retaliation for their pro-union stance, a violation of the regulations governing the organizing process. An official of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has tentatively ruled that Starbucks must “make whole” the seven former workers.
