Christmas Blessings at Calvary
From the Rector

Dear Calvary Parishioners,

Christmas was filled with great joy at Calvary this year! What we celebrate when we gather for Christmas is that God has been, is, and ever shall be born among us. God is with us!

I would like to thank Susan Skidmore, Duane Lewis, and Mary McKnight for bringing such warmth and merriment to the Christmas Eve Reception this year. It was truly special and a gift to all who enjoyed it.

Thank you to Bishop Nedi Rivera for so lovingly creating and assembling all of the pageant costumes. We had 25 children participating in this year's pageant, and it was a delight!

Thank you to the Howard Helvey and the Choir, and Miriam McKenney and the Acolyte Team your dedication to serving the church on this Holy Night!

And, thank you to Susan & Adam Petersen for your beautiful prelude at 9:00 PM-- it set the tone for an incredible Christmas Eve liturgy.

As is tradition in the church, Christmastide continues until the Epiphany (January 6). So in that spirit, may the joy of Christmas continue to lighten your spirit and bring you hope as we enter into the New Year.

Calvary Families Helping IHN Families

It is time to host! We need your support to house and feed a family on Thursday, January 23.
Did you know that in addition to supporting IHN through the hosting ministry, we know have a donation box in Hannaford Hall? There is a comprehensive list of supplies accepted posted on the box. Current pressing needs are 1) new socks and underwear, 2) new or gently used clean bath towels, 3) new or gently used clean blankets

We need people to serve food and help host.
