From the Re-Open Team

Survey Regarding the Reopening of the Church

Reverend Allison, Reverend Olivia, the Vestry, and the reopening team have decided that we need to conduct a survey of the Calvary community regarding the reopening of the church.  We understand these surveys have been done before, but the situation between the virus itself and the vaccinations is so fluid that we need to get a pulse of the parish.  So please take a few minutes and complete this survey.  Your feedback is important to the decisions that we are making on your behalf.

Do you need a paper survey? Please call the office (513-861-4437) and Judy will arrange to get one to you.

Worship Engagement at Calvary

The Ohio Public Health Advisory is in level RED this week. At that level, we are permitted to have up to 45 people with distanced seating in the nave, with additional persons in the choir.
At this time, we are worshiping virtually with the exception of 11:00 Eucharist offered with COVID-safe protocols. See safety tips here
Provide Lunch for Habitat Volunteers

At present, the HOPE Coalition for Habitat for Humanity is working on a build on Baymiller St. with 4-6 volunteers at a time. Calvary is signed up to provide lunch on Saturday, May 15.

Would you be willing to prepare and provide lunch for the 4-6 volunteers?
Here are Habitat's Guidelines:

-Lunches must be made following COVID safety guidelines (wearing a mask and gloves) while making them.
If you have any COVID symptoms or have been around a person who has tested positive, please do not make lunches for the work site.
-Lunches must be individually wrapped when brought to site. Items such as shared pots (chili, soup, sandwich plates, etc) will not be permitted.
Everything must be prepackaged by a company (for example, if you buy from a fast food restaurant) or prepackaged by volunteers.
-Please only make lunches for the individuals who are on site. We do not want a large number of community members coming to the work site for lunch.
We love having community members congregate for lunches, but can’t do this quite yet.

E-mail Allison at to offer your time and talent to this outreach opportunity.
Save the Dates for Outdoor Garden Workdays
May 15 and 16th
There will be a map of garden areas and beds to select posted in Hannaford Hall starting May 8th. Have your family choose a plot and instructions. Mulch will be available in the driveway. We will have some plants available behind the Clifton House fence. Come have fun and make the grounds beautiful. COVID cautions as always.

Sign up below with your name and e-mail and we'll alert you to the opportunity to select the plot you'd like to work on.
Procter Summer Camp is ON for Summer 2021
