Second chances and new beginnings.

Hello Allison,

April is Second Chance Month - a month dedicated to celebrating the people and services that support individuals transitioning from incarceration back into their communities. Here at CRJ, it is our mission to support second chances for returning community members - and we take great pride in that work. To all of our staff supporting reentry: Thank you. Your work matters and changes lives.

This month, I am thrilled to announce two promotions to the CRJ Executive Team that reflect our commitment to expanding services and funding support for our programming. Please join me in congratulating these two incredible leaders on their new roles:

  • Holly Fitting has been promoted to our Vice President of Behavioral Health - a new position here at CRJ! At a time when behavioral health services are needed more than ever, Holly will oversee our behavioral health programs and look for even more opportunities to provide these much-needed services. Holly's robust clinical experience will help guide CRJ forward as we respond to community needs.

  • Ellen Donnarumma is now our Vice President of Reentry Services and External Affairs. While Ellen will continue to provide exemplary oversight over our reentry programs, her expanded role will now also oversee our fundraising and development work. Ellen brings years of development and fundraising experience across politics, non-profits, and the private sector, and we welcome her knowledge as we power our philanthropy forward.

Finally: I know this time of year is sacred across so many faiths. It is the season of hope, compassion, and renewal. To all our staff and their loved ones who celebrate, I wish you a Ramadan Mubarak, Chag Sameach, and Happy Easter!
