Can you solve the riddle of
The Canterville Ghost?
When a golden girl can win
Prayer from out the lips of sin,
When the barren almond tree bears
And a child gives away its tears,
Then shall all the house be still
And peace come to Canterville.

These are the opening lines from The Canterville Ghost, adapted by John Vreeke, based on the story by Oscar Wilde. If you are able to solve the riddle you will come to understand the full import of the ghost's tale.

Volunteers are ALWAYS welcome
Are you looking for a creative outlet for your time and talent but haven’t quite found it yet? Consider volunteering at The Lancaster Playhouse.

The theater could use help with building sets, managing props, costumes, publicity, poster distribution, ushering, greeting guests, and working at intermission. Actors and directors are volunteers too. Opportunities almost too numerous to mention. Volunteer a little or a lot.
