Introducing Capitol Technology University's 2026 Commencement Ceremony keynote speaker: Dr. Kam Ghaffarian, Founder and Executive Chairman of Axiom Space, Intuitive Machines, X-energy and Quantum Space. Dr. Ghaffarian is a visionary entrepreneur and engineer with a passion to advance humanity and expand human knowledge. He is a two-time Capitol Technology University alumnus, earning his BS in Electronics Engineering Technology in 1983 and his PhD in Technology in 2022. He was named one of Forbes’ Top 250 America’s Greatest Innovators in 2026. Tune in for his keynote address on Saturday, May 2 during our graduation livestream.

New Transfer Partnership with Anne Arundel Community College
Capitol Technology University is proud to announce a new transfer partnership with Anne Arundel Community College designed to offer students a seamless and affordable path to a four-year Capitol Tech degree. The agreement establishes two new transfer opportunities for AACC students to maximize transferable coursework and ensure degree requirements are met for Capitol Tech's Computer Science and Cybersecurity undergraduate programs.

VEX U Competition
The Capitol Tech Robotics Club recently competed in a VEX U Robotics Competition at Virginia Tech, where their robot's seamless blend of innovation and control secured their place in the semi-finals! This achievement reflects the countless hours that our students dedicate to designing, building, programming, and testing competitive robots while developing real-world engineering and teamwork skills.

Capitol Tech's AeroCamp Summer Experience
Capitol Technology University will host its first-ever AeroCamp summer experience for high school students from July 13–17 at the Fort Meade Executive (FME) Airport in Odenton, Maryland. Presented in partnership with the Flight School Association of North America (FSANA), the camp is open to rising 9th through 12th graders who want to explore the world of aviation and piloting through hands-on learning, real and simulated flight experiences, and mentorship from professional flight faculty.
