ASE Industry Advisory Board Meeting

The Fall 2024 Astronautical and Space Engineering (ASE) Industry Advisory Board meeting was held on Nov. 15 with our new ASE Program Director Jeff Volosin. Discussions during this meeting ranged from approaches to teaching model-based systems engineering skills, to the types of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity training that would be most valuable for our ASE students. Our program has greatly benefited over the years from industry advisors and investors, and we encourage companies to reach out to learn more about how they can assist us in continuing to produce talented, industry-ready graduates.

Chargers Esports: End of Year Recap

Our Chargers Esports team has been hard at work securing wins across several collegiate competitions nationwide. In our season recap, we review the matches that

have brought our dedicated team up in the gaming ranks.

Cyber Scholarship Program Opportunity for Students

A full scholarship opportunity through the Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Service Academy (CSA), formerly known as the Cyber Scholarship Program (CySP), is available to students at DHS and NSA-designated Centers of Excellence in cybersecurity education, including Capitol Technology University.

The application deadline for this prestigious opportunity is quickly approaching

and interested students are encouraged to apply early.

Career Fair Coming this Spring

Our Spring 2025 Career Fair will be held on Friday, March 7. We encourage interested employers to register early or contact us for more information to reserve your spot! Our students will be in attendance to network with businesses and

agencies and learn more about their exciting career opportunities.

Doctoral Hooding Ceremony: Friday, May 2 at 4:00 p.m.

Graduating Student & Alumni Reception: Friday, May 2 at 5:30 p.m.

Commencement Ceremony: Saturday, May 3 at 10:00 a.m.

Note: The deadline to apply for Spring graduation is January 4, 2025.
