Honors Convocation and Awards Ceremony 

During this year’s Founder’s Week, we celebrated excellence across our community with a special Honors Convocation and Awards Ceremony. More than fifty students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in academics, leadership, service, and honors. This milestone event marked the establishment of our first Distinguished Alumni Award, presented to Dr. William Bassett in recognition of his remarkable contributions. In addition, we proudly conferred a Doctor of Science, honoris causa to André Mendes, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, honoring his exceptional leadership and service.

Capitol Tech Partners with ISU to Launch Executive

AI in Space Program

Capitol Technology University welcomed new partner, The International Space University (ISU), this fall by planning and hosting a five-day Executive Course, AI in Space. Held on our campus, the event brought together professionals from across technology sectors and from around the world for discussions on growing trends and new research in this area. The event featured a special guest appearance and keynote by Capitol Tech alumnus, Dr. Kam Ghaffarian, visionary space entrepreneur and engineer, founder and CEO of IBX, and co-founder and Executive Chairman of Axiom Space, Intuitive Machines, X-energy, and Quantum Space.

Cyber Skills Gap: Imperative for National Security Webinar featuring Capitol Tech Professor Dr. Ron Martin

The University of South Wales International Centre for Policing and Security will be hosting a webinar featuring top cyber and critical infrastructure experts including Capitol Tech Professor of Practice, Dr. Ron Martin. The session will examine the challenges of the cyber skills employment gap as nearly 47% of cyber roles remain unfilled, leaving nations vulnerable and undermining the resilience of government institutions, businesses, and critical infrastructure.
