4th Annual Car Show

On Saturday, June 7th, the streets of downtown Hanford were filled with 194 classic cars and trucks for the 4th Annual Carnegie Museum of Kings County Car Show.

Car enthusiasts from 6 different counties and 27 cities from as far as Madera to the north, Tehachapi to the south, and everywhere in between, enjoyed a beautiful day.

We would like to thank all of the volunteers who made this event run smoothly as well as the food and craft vendors who participated.

Mark your calendars for our 5th Annual Show on June 6, 2026.

Get Involved!

In addition to your financial support, we have a continuing need for volunteers to continue to clean, upgrade, make repairs, and maintain the historic building that has served our community for 120 years. Physically, the facilities suffer from years of deferred maintenance. The library requires seismic retrofitting to last another 120 years and disability access upgrading.

We have several opportunities for you to get involved, including:

  • Research and Writing
  • Fundraising
  • Grant Writing
  • Community Outreach
  • Museum volunteers/docents

If you are interested in volunteering, please visit our website at:

www.carnegiemuseumofkingscounty.org

and click on the "Get Involved" tab.

Save the date!

October 4, 2025 we will be holding the 2nd Annual "Tribute to the China Alley Moon Festival" in the afternoon. We will have the Cal Poly Lion Dancers, Fresno Gumyo Taiko, vendors, demonstrations, & food.

October 25, 2025 is the date for our 3rd Annual Carnegie Museum of Kings County Gala at the Hanford Civic Auditorium. We are currently seeking sponsors for the event as well as items for the silent auction. If you'd like to participate, please contact Denise Raulino.
