Today, and every day, we're filled with gratitude for the incredible volunteers of the Central North Carolina Council, Scouting America! Your dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to guiding the next generation of Scouts are truly inspiring.
You’re more than just volunteers – you’re real-life superheroes, providing our youth with life-changing skills and unforgettable experiences. From the dusty bike trails of adventurous outdoor fun to the heights of challenge and growth on the climbing wall, you’re always there to encourage and support.
You help them learn new skills like focus at the archery range, and you build their leadership and character, watching them grow into the next generation of incredible leaders. You are shaping the future, one Scout at a time.
A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you! Your passion and dedication make all the difference. You are great role models and the backbone of Scouting in Central North Carolina.

If Scouting has made a difference in your life—or in the life of someone you know—please consider making a gift this year. Every contribution, large or small, helps ensure that our Scouts continue to experience adventure, leadership, and growth.

Training Made Easy
If your child has swim practice, band competitions, karate lessons, or other activities where you have some down time, instead of scrolling the ‘Gram, why not knock out some online Scouting training? Each year all Scout leaders must complete Safeguarding Youth, formerly YPT, and these wait times are a great opportunity to get it done. But wait, there’s more! Once you finish the new Safeguarding Youth training, next year you will only have to complete a much shorter refresher to renew.
You can complete the certification by simply going to my.scouting.org and login. Once there, click on the SYT logo and then "Enroll" in the course.
