NEW IN THE ILLINOIS MEDICAL DISTRICT: DECEMBER 2019
FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
With 2020 on the horizon, I'm excited for all of the impactful work that's still to come, but I also can't help but look back on the incredible year we've had together.
Our partners at Easterseals Chicago opened a new fitness, wellness and recreation center to enrich the lives of individuals living with autism and other disabilities.

Our friends at Harrison Square have made tremendous progress transforming the historic Cook County Hospital in ways that will serve IMD employees, patients and visitors for years to come.

The IMD Gateway has come to life, as we welcomed much needed amenities such as AT&T, Chipotle, Jimmy John's and Starbucks.

Rush University Medical Center   broke ground on its new state-of-the-art cancer and neurosciences center that will be a destination for cancer and neuroscience care.
THE RUBSCHLAGER BUILDING AT RUSH (RENDERING)
Our partners at Thresholds and Jesse Brown VA Hospital were recognized by Partnership for a Connected Illinois for their outstanding achievements in telehealth leadership.

These are just some of the many reasons I'm proud to be a part of this transformative period of growth and development in the nation's second largest urban medical district. And although we have much to celebrate as 2019 comes to a close, I know the best is yet to come. I want to extend my wishes for a happy holiday season to all of our partners and friends.
