Shining Our Light - Stewardship 2023
Stewardship Ingathering this Sunday, November 20th!
Our Stewardship Ingathering will take place this Sunday, November 20, 2022. During our services on Holy Sovereigns’ Sunday, we will rededicate ourselves, our time, talent, and treasure to the work of the Gospel and pray for God’s blessing on our shared ministry as light-bearers in the world. In making our light visible, we make God’s love visible and available to all. Our willingness to accept the challenge to stretch and grow into the light-bearing mission of our Cathedral holds us to:

Love must act as light must shine and fire must burn.

Prayerfully, I ask all of you to reflect on the gifts you have received and to consider how God is compelling you to bring your light to bear for the world with your time, talents, and treasure. Your Cathedral is most vibrant and alive when all of our light shines as one. As we plan for 2023, we need you! Join us with your commitment to our mission--

Your generosity makes it all possible;
your pledge assures us that our ministry is sustainable.

Most Faithfully in Christ Jesus,

Canon Heather+

AdventWord 2022
Forward Movement has announced the 2022 reflection words for AdventWord, a global online advent calendar and community of disciples. For nearly a decade AdventWord has inspired followers of Jesus who wish to add an accessible prayer practice to their daily routine during this holy season.

Daily meditations and images—inspired by a prompt word selected from the daily lectionary readings—will be released at adventword.org, beginning Sunday, November 27.

Participants can sign up to receive this daily message, in English and Spanish, by email or by following AdventWord on social media.
