St. Augustine's Holy Spirit Prayer

Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit,

that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit,

that I always may be holy.

Amen

NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

Jennifer Taylor Memorial Scholarship - Applications Due Monday, April 27

To honor of the memory of Jennifer Taylor, a new scholarship has been established for graduating seniors of Charlotte Catholic High School. Funded by her family, friends, and all who were impacted by Jen’s dedication to students, this scholarship recognizes a senior who has been involved in the performing arts during high school and/or plans to pursue the performing arts in college—whether through coursework or extracurricular activities (including, but not limited to, musicals, plays, dance, or band).

The recipient of this award will demonstrate perseverance, school spirit, and a meaningful impact on the lives of others—often in quiet or understated ways. The selection committee will seek a student who embodies Jen’s spirit and shares her passion for the performing arts, dance, and the Charlotte Catholic community.

Seniors may apply (self-nominate) or be nominated by a fellow student or a Charlotte Catholic faculty member. All applications and nominations must be submitted using this form by Monday, April 27, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

To apply or nominate a qualified student for this award, please complete the Jennifer Taylor Memorial Scholarship application by Monday, April 27, 2026.

Seniors, we want to celebrate your success!

If you’ve been awarded a merit or athletic scholarship from a college or outside organization, please report it using the Scholarship Reporting Form.

  • To be recognized, your award letter must include your name and the scholarship amount. Upload one letter per submission.
  • Important: Be sure to save a copy of your award letter before notifying a college that you will not attend—once your portal access ends, you may lose that information.
  • Please note: Scholarship award amounts will not be published, but all scholarships reported will be listed in the graduation program.
  • Don’t wait—submit scholarships as soon as you receive them so we can celebrate your achievements all year long!

The Penguin Project – Mentor Opportunity

The Penguin Project pairs peer mentors with young artists who have developmental or learning disabilities. Over three months, students build friendships, rehearse, and perform in a musical production.

This year, we are presenting Seussical Jr., and the program has grown so much that we now need additional mentors. We are especially looking for male mentors to help balance the team.

There is no cost to participate, and no theatre experience is needed—just a willingness to support and be a good friend.

Please visit the Theatre Charlotte website for more information. Questions can be directed to Dr. Maria Leahy or Penguin Project Artistic Director, Chris Timmons. and feel free to reach out with any questions or interest. Save the date to attend our performances on June 19-21.
