Graduation Announcements

If you were unable to pick up your graduation announcement order this week, they will be available for pick up from Mrs. Tesch in the Counseling Office through Monday, March 30.

Senior Scholarships

Seniors – deadlines are approaching for several scholarships that can go toward college tuition! Applications are due by Monday, March 30, 2026 for these scholarships:

The Kara Kloiber Make a Difference Award: $5000. (Due Monday, March 30)

• Seniors may nominate a fellow senior – Faculty/staff and self-nominations are not permitted. This award honors the life of Kara Kloiber '93, she will forever be remembered for her love of CCHS and her spirit of embracing the CCHS community, inclusiveness, charity and service.

Class of 1989 Memorial Scholarship: $500 (Due Monday, March 30)

• Seniors may self-nominate, and fellow students and faculty/staff may also nominate a senior. Please apply or nominate a senior student whose life has been affected by cancer.

CCHS Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship: $2000. (Due Monday, March 30)

• This application is only open to CCHS students who have a parent who is an alumnus of Charlotte Catholic. Students apply for this scholarship themselves.  

Waldron Family Scholarship for Political Science, Government and Public Policy (Deadline April 15, 2026)

• This is a new opportunity designed to support the next generation of civic leaders and changemakers. This $5,000 scholarship, renewable for each year of college study, is open to 12th-grade CCHS students who plan to major in Political Science, Government or Public Policy in college. The application requires completion of 2 essays and a teacher recommendation. APPLY for the Waldron Scholarship.

Quarter Three Honor Rolls

The 2025-2026 Quarter Three Honor Rolls are available here for a limited time. Congratulations to all our students for their continued scholastic effort and achievement! Honor Roll listings reflect grades as of the date of publishing. Students with an incomplete grade at the time of printing are not included in the list.

Student Tickets for The Wizard of Oz

The CCHS spring musical, The Wizard of Oz, runs from March 25-28. Mr. Riter has created a promo code on Hometown Fan App for students with an activity pass to receive their free ticket. Students should select their seats for the musical and then use their student ID number as the promo code.

Purchase Your 2025-26 Yearboook

You can purchase a yearbook for your student for $95 prior to spring break. After spring break, the price will go $105.

Course Registration

The Counseling Department continues individual course registration meetings this week. Counselors will meet with all 9th and 10th graders to review teacher recommendations and select courses for next year. Students should come prepared having reviewed the curriculum guide and with their course registration worksheet fully completed to ensure a smooth and efficient registration process.

If a student is bringing a guest from another school, it is his or her responsibility to make sure the guest meets the standards of this dress code. (Feel free to forward this message to them.) In addition, students must pick up a “guest pass” from the dean of students’ office and return it by Thursday, April 23, 2026. The guest pass requires a signature from the

school administrator (of the guest), and no late forms will be accepted.

CCHS Class of 2026 - Scholarship Reporting Form

Seniors, we want to celebrate your success!

If you’ve been awarded a merit or athletic scholarship from a college or outside organization, please report it using the Scholarship Reporting Form.

• To be recognized, your award letter must include your name and the scholarship amount. Upload one letter per submission.
• Important: Be sure to save a copy of your award letter before notifying a college that you will not attend—once your portal access ends, you may lose that information.
• Please note: Scholarship award amounts will not be published, but all scholarships reported will be listed in the graduation program.
• Don’t wait—submit scholarships as soon as you receive them so we can celebrate your achievements all year long!

Spring College Visit Reminders

As we begin hosting spring college representative visits, please keep the following in mind:

• Visits are intended for juniors and sophomores. Seniors should attend only if they are seriously considering that school.
• Register in SCOIR by the day before the visit. Bring a screenshot of your registration signed by your teacher as your entry pass.
• Attendance is at the teacher's discretion. Students may not attend if they have a test or quiz and are responsible for any missed work.
• If you can no longer attend, cancel your RSVP promptly so colleges have an accurate headcount.
• Come prepared, be respectful, and bring thoughtful questions-this is your chance to make a great impression.

Women's Field Hockey Interest Meeting

There will a meeting on Wednesday, April 15, at 7:00 pm in the CCHS cafeteria for all girls interested in trying out for field hockey and girls interested in supporting the team as managers. Holy Trinity is looking for 12 energetic volunteers to help out at their spring Bulldog Festival on Friday, April 17, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Volunteers will help at the different stations and make sure they are safe and having fun! Sign up to volunteer!
