Grief Support Available

As our community begins to process the loss of Jennifer Taylor, we recognize that grief can affect people in different ways and on different timelines. The school counselors are available to provide support, listen, and meet with any student who may need a safe space to process their feelings. Students and families who feel they may need additional support are encouraged to seek out resources that may be helpful during this time, including speaking with a member of our Campus Ministry team for prayer, conversation, or spiritual guidance.

One local option is the grief counseling program offered by VIA Health Partners. Their counselors provide individual counseling, grief support groups, and educational programs for children, teens, and adults who are navigating the loss of a loved one. All of their services are free of charge. Important Carpool Reminder

Parents: Please do not drop off, pick up, or wait for your student in the Wells Fargo parking lot next to campus. This lot is private property, and the bank has notified us that this has become an ongoing issue. Recently, a Loomis armored truck was blocked and unable to complete its scheduled route, which required a formal report due to federal security protocols.

Thank you for helping us be good neighbors. Please refer to our carpool guidelines for approved drop-off and pick-up procedures.

Seniors, we want to celebrate your success!

If you’ve been awarded a merit or athletic scholarship from a college or outside organization, please report it using the Scholarship Reporting Form.

• To be recognized, your award letter must include your name and the scholarship amount. Upload one letter per submission.
• Important: Be sure to save a copy of your award letter before notifying a college that you will not attend—once your portal access ends, you may lose that information.
• Please note: Scholarship award amounts will not be published, but all scholarships reported will be listed in the graduation program.
• Don’t wait—submit scholarships as soon as you receive them so we can celebrate your achievements all year long!

Spring College Visit Reminders

As we begin hosting spring college representative visits, please keep the following in mind:

• Visits are intended for juniors and sophomores. Seniors should attend only if they are seriously considering that school.
• Register in SCOIR by the day before the visit. Bring a screenshot of your registration signed by your teacher as your entry pass.
• Attendance is at the teacher's discretion. Students may not attend if they have a test or quiz and are responsible for any missed work.
• If you can no longer attend, cancel your RSVP promptly so colleges have an accurate headcount.
• Come prepared, be respectful, and bring thoughtful questions-this is your chance to make a great impression.
