We're rolling out the red carpet for the Catholic Movie Soundtrack Awards, our very own version of the CMAs. The team is excited to embark on a movie music journey. Help us spoil our wonderful teachers and staff during this year's Teacher Appreciation Week, March 16-20.
**Please send your gift cards to the front desk by Friday, March 13. The PTO has created wish lists at Amazon and Target - you can buy the gift cards online and they will ship directly to the PTO.

Spread the Word Inclusion Day
On Wednesday, March 11, we will observe Spread the Word Inclusion Day, a global movement that promotes respect, dignity, and inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Students in the Options/Pathways Program will help lead the day by greeting the school community in the morning, sharing testimonies and participating in Mass, inviting classmates to sign the Pledge Banner, and distributing Spread the Word Day cups during lunch.
Students who pre-ordered a Spread the Word Inclusion Day T-shirt may wear it on Wednesday with their Mass uniform bottoms as we come together to celebrate a culture of belonging and inclusion at CCHS.

The awards are presented to five CCHS faculty members each year at Graduation.
- The awards are intended to inspire and honor CCHS faculty members who truly excel in their roles as educators and mentors.
- The entire community - parents, students, faculty, and staff - are encouraged to be a part of the process and nominate teachers for this award.
- Five winners are selected each year, and each winner is presented $5,000.

CCHS Women's Lacrosse
On Saturday, March 14, at 11AM, the CCHS Women's Lacrosse team will play at American Legion Memorial Stadium. We would love to see the entire school community come out to support the team as they compete in such a great setting.

Important Information for Students Taking the SAT on Saturday, March 14th.
- Check your computer and confirm that the "BlueBook" application is installed on your CCHS MacBook. If it is not, see Mr. Hicks in the library before the end of the day on Friday, March 13th.
- On Saturday morning of the test, arrive for the SAT by 7:45 AM to allow yourself time to check into the testing center. Doors will open at 7:30 AM and the test starts promptly at 8:00 AM. This is a large administration. Arriving early allows us to begin on time. Students who arrive late will not be allowed to test.
- Bring your printed SAT entry ticket and photo ID and your fully-charged computer. Acceptable forms of photo ID are current year Student ID, valid Driver's License, or a Passport. You may print your ticket once you log into the BlueBook application on your computer and go through the preliminary terms for the test on Saturday. Failure to bring any one of these items will result in dismissal from the test center. There are no loaner computers available for those who forget their computer.
- Make sure to charge your computer the night before the SAT. Opportunities to charge your computer while testing will be limited, and may hinder the completion of your test. Having a full charge when you arrive will alleviate this issue.
- One final note - if you are taking your SAT test here at CCHS, you will use your Charlotte Catholic issued computer. If, however, you are testing at a site OTHER THAN Catholic, you will need to use a personal device. CMS Schools have already stated that devices with protection and monitoring software such as ours will not work on any of their networks.

If you’ve been awarded a merit or athletic scholarship from a college or outside organization, please report it using the Scholarship Reporting Form.
- To be recognized, your award letter must include your name and the scholarship amount. Upload one letter per submission.

Important: Be sure to save a copy of your award letter before notifying a college that you will not attend—once your portal access ends, you may lose that information.

Please note: Scholarship award amounts will not be published, but all scholarships reported will be listed in the graduation program.
- Don’t wait—submit scholarships as soon as you receive them so we can celebrate your achievements all year long!

Spring College Visit Reminders
As we begin hosting spring college representative visits, please keep the following in mind:
- Visits are intended for juniors and sophomores. Seniors should attend only if they are seriously considering that school.
- Register in SCOIR by the day before the visit. Bring a screenshot of your registration signed by your teacher as your entry pass.
- Attendance is at the teacher's discretion. Students may not attend if they have a test or quiz and are responsible for any missed work.
- If you can no longer attend, cancel your RSVP promptly so colleges have an accurate headcount.
- Come prepared, be respectful, and bring thoughtful questions-this is your chance to make a great impression.

Join Us for Cougar Basketball Camp – June 8–11!
The Charlotte Catholic Women’s Basketball program is excited to host Cougar Basketball Camp from June 8–11 at Charlotte Catholic High School. This camp is open to girls in rising grades 2–8 and is a great opportunity for young athletes to develop their basketball skills while having fun with our players and coaches.
Camp Times:
• Rising 2–5: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We’re so excited to help celebrate your graduate! Kindergarten wall has been a Catholic tradition forever! We’re about 30 days from displaying the pictures and we desperately need your help. We’ve only received 83 kindergarten photos, there are over 300 graduates! It’s a time consuming process to create each students display and we’re excited to do it, but we need your help now! Please don’t let your child be photoless!

Bring friends and family! The St. Gabriel Men's Club Lenten Fish Fry is Friday, March 13, 4:30 - 7:30 PM in the St. Gabriel School cafeteria (3028 Providence Road). Dine in or carry out.
