Prayer for the month of November

November is dedicated to the holy souls in purgatory.
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

Our Lady of Mercy and St. Joseph pray for us.

COVID-19 Information

As of Wednesday, November 10, there are zero reported active positive cases of COVID-19 among CCHS students, faculty and staff.

September 22 Update from Nurse Holder: Home COVID tests are not as reliable as a lab test, therefore only the Rapid or the PCR are acceptable for proof of positive or negative COVID test.

COVID Protocols and Procedures: If a student is going to be out of school due to COVID (positive test and/or exposure), please contact Kathie Holder, CCHS school nurse at or 704-543-0139. The nurse’s office will notify the attendance office as well as the student’s teachers, counselors and school administrators. Please do not contact the teachers or counselors to report. They will be made aware and make any necessary arrangements with the student AFTER receiving verification from the nurse regarding a COVID-related absence.

Quick Resources
24-hour Attendance Hotline 704-716-2418
* Please follow these procedures *
Early Dismissal: If your student needs early dismissal, please have them bring a note to the attendance office first thing in the morning with their name and exact time of dismissal. This will allow your student to leave school without a parent entering the building to sign them out.
Return to school after an absence: A parent note is needed for documentation after any student absence.

Reminder from the Attendance Office regarding disruptions to the school day:
In addition to a high number of students arriving late to school, there has been an excessive amount of last minute requests for dismissals for appointments during the school day. We understand that sometimes appointments during the school day may be unavoidable, however we ask that, as much as possible, families plan ahead and physical notes are brought to the attendance office in the morning before homeroom, and that dismissals are planned so that the times are at class change. It is very disruptive to have so many students coming and going during class time.
Bus Service
For information about the MACS bus service, visit MACS Transportation.
