Exam Week Reminders

Winter exams are scheduled for the week of December 15-19.

• The first exam will run from 7:40 AM - 9:40 AM
• The second exam will run from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Students must be in uniform and bring a fully charged computer

• Wednesday, December 17: E | F
• Thursday, December 18: G

The cafeteria will be serving breakfast until 10:30 AM Monday, December 15 - Thursday, December 18.

CCHS Office Hours and Bus Schedule for December 15 - 19, 2025

The CCHS Front Office will close at 12:30 PM during the week of December 15 -19.

Bus Schedule for Exam Week

• Monday, December 15 - Wednesday, December 17: 12:15 PM
• Thursday, December 18: 10:15 AM
• Friday, December 19: No bus service

Christmas Break

CCHS will be closed for Christmas break beginning at 12:30 PM on Friday, December 19, and will remain closed through Friday, January 2.

School will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Please plan accordingly if you need any forms signed, including driver’s education forms.

The Gala Committee is hard at work preparing for Charlotte Catholic’s largest fundraising event, taking place Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Carmel Country Club. This year’s celebration will feature a festive cocktail hour, a seated dinner, dessert, and dancing!

Seniors, we want to celebrate your success!

If you’ve been awarded a merit or athletic scholarship from a college or outside organization, please report it using the Scholarship Reporting Form.

• To be recognized, your award letter must include your name and the scholarship amount. Upload one letter per submission.
• Important: Be sure to save a copy of your award letter before notifying a college that you will not attend—once your portal access ends, you may lose that information.
• Please note: Scholarship award amounts will not be published, but all scholarships reported will be listed in the graduation program.
• Don’t wait—submit scholarships as soon as you receive them so we can celebrate your achievements all year long!

Florence Kidder Memorial Scholarship

Applications are now open! This award recognizes North Carolina high school seniors who plan to attend a postsecondary program in North Carolina next fall. Submit a short essay and your application by February 8, 2026. Apply HERE!

Lift Up Carolinas Scholarship Applications Now Open!

Lift Up Carolinas (formerly Assistance League of Charlotte) has opened its 2026 scholarship application season, running November 30, 2025 – March 22, 2026. Seniors can apply HERE. More information is available at liftupcarolinas.org.

Scholarships are available for seniors attending a Mecklenburg County high school who are either planning to enroll full-time at one of the 17 UNC system campuses (min. 3.0 weighted GPA and 1100 SAT / 21 ACT) OR planning to enroll full-time at CPCC (min. 2.5 weighted GPA).

St. Gabriel Annual Christmas Basket Program - Service Hours Available!

There are two opportunities to help.

• St. Gabriel School Cafeteria
• Friday, December 19, 3:00 - 5:00 PM Help unload Harris Teeter truck and distribute food items around the cafeteria.
• Saturday, December 20, 8:00 - 10:30 AM Load full food boxes onto trucks
• No sign-up, just show up!
