2020-2021 (P3 -8)

Please click the link below for the 2020-2021 Supply Lists. We would like to remind you to drop off all supplies during your assigned time on Cavalier Supply Drop Off Day, Tuesday, August 11th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon. This will be an opportunity for students to meet their teachers as well as drop off supplies. We are asking parents and students to please wear a mask on this day.

Please drop students off between 6:45 AM and 7:00 AM. each morning. Classes begin at 7:10 AM. This drop off allows children to prepare for their day. We are still unsure if we will have Kenton County bus service. Hopefully this decision will be made soon.

Please remember to pick up your SJS beginning of the year packet on Monday, August 3rd from
9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is the exciting day when the students find out who is in their homeroom and what teacher they have for the year. We are asking that only parents come in the building that day. Please wear a mask.

Our first week of school will look a little different than in past years, and our area Catholic elementary schools will all be implementing a soft opening. During this first week, our staff will teach health/safety procedures and administer common assessments to determine the academic needs of all students. The first week schedule is below, and Monday, August 17th will begin full days for all grade levels.

Medical reminders will be sent this summer to parents of students whose medical files need to be updated during the summer. Students who will be entering grade 6 are required to have had a medial exam within one year prior to the first day of 6th grade. 6th grade students are also required to have a current immunization certificate on file. Medical forms were mailed in September, 2019 to parents whose fifth graders do not meet the medical exam criteria. All forms are due prior to the first day of school. All new students entering St. Joseph School (PK-8) are required to have both a medical exam form and an immunization certificiate. These medical forms are posted on the "Additional Forms" page of our website under the Parents tab.

SJS is proud to welcome our three new teachers
for the 2020-2021 school year.
Mrs. Natalie Brockmeier

Hello, my name is Natalie Brockmeier and I am the new computer teacher and technology coordinator at SJS. I am an SJS and NDA graduate and went to University of Louisville for my Bachelor of Arts in French, Humanities, and Math and Master of Arts in Teaching. After I earned my degrees, I taught High School Math at Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville, KY and transitioned into technology support for the Sacred Heart School District. I recently moved back to Northern Kentucky with my husband John, 6-month old daughter Wendy, and our dog Barley. Outside of work, I enjoy sewing, fishing, and soccer. I am excited to join the SJS family!
Miss Lacey Pohlman

Hello, my name is Lacey Pohlman. I am very excited to be teaching Saint Joseph third graders this year! I wish to spark a love for learning within my students, which will hopefully last a lifetime. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education at Thomas More University. For fun, I enjoy fishing, playing tennis, woodworking, and spending time with friends and family. I eagerly await meeting all of the fantastic individuals who make Saint Joseph a wonderful school!
Miss Regina Mason

Greetings! My name is Regina Mason and I am the new Music Teacher. Music has always been an integral part of my life: I started private lessons at 6; joined the band in Elementary school, and studied violin performance in college at UC. This year will be my 5th year teaching and I am very excited to be working with all of you at St. Joe’s! In my free time I read and work in the garden; I also enjoy competing in AKC conformation events with my dog.
