FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION

Financial Aid applications are now available on the FACTS website for the 2020-2021 school year. https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3WH0N All families who are active parishioners are eligible to apply for the financial aid as financial aid is funded solely by the contributions of St. Joseph parishioners. Requirements for a completed application include the applicant's 2019 tax return and W-2s. The application fee is $35 and is charged by FACTS as they will process the applications and provide the financial aid recommendation to our Finance Council Financial Aid Committee for a final decision. St. Joseph does not receive any of this fee.  The deadline for application is April 20, 2020.  If anyone has a question, you may contact the Parish Business Manager, Mrs. Andrea Pappas, at the parish office, 859-341-6609 ext 4011 or by email at:

SJS GYM KEY FABS

Attention: Coaches and/or Team Captains. Please turn in your key fabs to the school office as soon as possible if your team season is over. This is very important for our school safety.
SJS UNIFORMS

Boots are no longer permitted to be worn to school. Students may only wear boots during the colder months of January and February.

Beginning on April 1st, SJS uniform shorts and gym shorts (on gym days) may be worn.

On Tuesday, March 17th, students may wear green accessories WITH their school uniform.

Aspire Higher mmmmmmmm
Congratulations to SJS 4th grader Ben Horner. Ben won the school Geography Bee in January. After taking an online test, we were informed that Ben qualified to compete at the state competition! The Kentucky Geo Bee will take place on March 27th. Way to go Ben and good luck at State!

WOMAN'S LENTEN DAY
OF REFELCTION

St. Joseph Women’s Friends in Faith is hosting a Lenten Day of Reflection on Saturday, March 28 th  from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This mini retreat will revolve around placing our trust in God and will feature inspirational testimonies from two extraordinary women of faith: Sister Emerita McGann, CDP and Mother Seraphina Marie, FDM. We will start with morning Mass and provide opportunities for the sacrament of Reconciliation. Lunch will be provided. Tickets are $25. For more information please contact Nancy Metzger at

ANNUAL EGG HUNT

The annual Parish Egg Hunt will take place on Sunday, April 5, immediately following the 9:00 AM Mass on the front lawn facing Buttermilk Pike. Inclement weather will move it to Noll Hall. Open to all ages. There is an Egg Tree in the center nave filled with items needed for the hunt. If you would like to help, take an egg from the tree and return the item listed to the Parish Office.
VACATION BIBLE CAMP
JUNE 15 -19

Registration forms for “Rocky Railway-Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through” are available online and at all church exits. Please turn in by May 1 st  to guarantee your child a spot at camp. After May 1 st  price increases and registration will be accepted only if space is available. We are in need of adult volunteers. Please fill out the bottom portion of the form and return to the parish office.

NDA PANDA
PREVIEW NIGHT

Panda Preview Night is a great opportunity for students and parents to visit NDA’s campus and learn more about The Notre Dame Life! Join us on Tuesday, March 24 from 6 - 8 p.m. This fun and informative event is for all 6th and 7th grade girls, and 8th grade girls who have not yet made a high school decision. Parents must attend with their students. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. with “Panda Pizza with the President and Principal”! Take advantage of this opportunity to have dinner and one-on-one conversations with our faculty and staff. The evening will feature information on admissions requirements, student life, academics, and financing high school. Reservations are required.

GRADE SCHOOL FOOTBALL
 SIGN UPS

Sign up for Cov Cath’s Colonels Youth Football (CYF) for 3rd through 8th grade now through April 30. CYF practices and plays home games on the Cov Cath fields. Teams play in the GCYL (Greater Catholic Youth League) with the parish schools feeding Elder, Moeller, Roger Bacon and LaSalle, while 7 th  grade team plays in NKY Middle School League.

NEED FLOWERS?

Need flowers to go along with the sunshine and warmer temperatures? School parent, Kristin Siegel, is selling flowers from Foetmeyer & Sons! The money raised will go to Be Concerned, Northern Kentucky's largest food pantry since 1987. Be Concerned's purpose is to assist low-income people of Northern Kentucky in obtaining basic necessities for life.
