MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

We will be kicking off our week long celebration of Catholic Schools Week at the 11:00 a.m. mass on Sunday. I am grateful to our parents, faculty, staff, and students for their commitment and dedication to the mission of Catholic education in our community. Jesus is the reason for our school and I admire the Catholic identity of our school community and their dedication to living and sharing our faith. Please join me for this celebration of God’s grace manifest through the ministry and service of St. Patrick Catholic School.

With the Church, the worldwide people of God, we have begun a Jubilee Year that will continue until January 6, 2026. As pilgrims of hope, we journey together toward the hope of our calling in Jesus Christ. Please see The Record article here and below in the Praying Together section for more information about this Holy Year.

Lighten up for Lent at St. Pats with “Mass Confusion,” a two night interactive fun, faith and music filled catechetical comedy on February 2-3, featuring the wit and wisdom of the “man of many faces,” Doug Brummel and his cast of characters, along with accomplished musician and songwriter Dave Wilson. The two men share a passion for their faith, family, humor and music, as they spread the joy of the Gospel! “Mass Confusion” engages, entertains, evangelizes and catechizes all at the same time. It’s like a Catholic casserole with a perfect blend of inspiration, catechesis and joy! Perfect for all ages and backgrounds. Invite your family and friends of all faiths! This is an exciting opportunity for our community! You can learn more:

Fr. Loi left yesterday for Vietnam to visit his family and renew his visa. As of midnight last night, he had made it to Tokyo. Please keep him in your prayers over the next three weeks. He was looking forward to seeing his family, celebrating the Lunar New Year, and commemorating the second anniversary of his father’s death. May he go with God.

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
