Hello everybody!
We had a great weekend with a sold out Men’s Club Trivia Night and the kickoff of our observance of Catholic Schools Week at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, among many other events, activities, and ministries. Today, our campus has been closed for inclement weather and although it’s quite peaceful, it just feels off without people and the life of our community bringing the campus alive.
In addition to Lent on the horizon and all the opportunities that presents, I will be offering a presentation on February 12 going deeper into the mystery of the Eucharist, we will have a three-night family retreat before Ash Wednesday, 40 Days, 40 Ways: A New Look At Lent, and we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a Fish Fry on Friday and the exciting return of our major event, the Celtic Ceilidh (pronounced “Kailey”) on March 18. Tickets can be purchased online now at this link (https://e.givesmart.com/events/v2a/) or you can use the QR code in the image below. The Pot of Gold raffle tickets are almost sold out, just three left, and you can get one by contacting Lynne Marshall at 244-6083. I am looking forward to this event.
Thank you for making St. Pats such a dynamic, generous, compassionate, faith filled and fun community! God bless you all.
Peace,
Fr. Jeff
