Hello everybody!
We kick off our participation in the annual Catholic Services Appeal this weekend. This campaign helps to fund the ministry of our wider church family through the dedication and commitment of archdiocesan staff in the 24 counties that comprise the Church in Central Kentucky. Because of your generosity and the generosity of so many, we are able to compound our efforts to serve those in need beyond our own individual or parish community capacity. Thank you being part of this good work. We are better together!
You were amazing last year engaging with CSA and we had a record participation of 537 donors, making St. Pats the top parish for donor participation in the Archdiocese! We also finished in the top three parishes for highest dollar gift total. Our whole community’s engagement, with special recognition for the increased participation of our school families, helped us reach these impressive totals. Our goals this year are $156,600 and 537 donors. I’d like to challenge us to reach our dollar total by December and stretch for a participation goal of 600 donors. I have confidence in God working through you for us to reach these goals.
“Do this in memory of me” is the theme this year and calls us to connect the gift of God’s presence for us in the Eucharist to God’s presence through us to those in need. Please consider and pray about how God wants to work through you and your generosity to meet the needs of others. Thank you!
May God continue to bless each of us so that we may continue to be a blessing for others.
Peace,
Fr. Jeff
