MESSAGE FROM LYNNE MARSHALL

Hi everyone,

Fr. Jeff will be out a few days this week in his role as Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Louisville, visiting the seminaries where our diocesan seminarians are studying. We ask that you keep these men in your prayers as they continue to discern and respond to God’s call to the priesthood.

This weekend at all Masses, Fr. Jeff will present the State of the Parish Address. This coincides with the release of our Fiscal Year 2025 Accountability Report, which highlights the stewardship and impact of our parish ministries . To celebrate our vibrant community, our Hospitality Ministry and Boy Scouts have teamed up to provide a special treat after all Masses as a token of gratitude.

As part of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), two individuals will celebrate the Rite of Entrance into the Catechumenate on Sunday following the 11:00 a.m. Mass. This special moment marks their public declaration to continue their journey toward full initiation into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. Please keep them in your prayers!

Thank you to everyone who has already made a gift to the Catholic Services Appeal. We are grateful for your generosity and continued support. Our school contest kicked off this week, and we’re hopeful to reach our parish goal by Thanksgiving! Information on how to give can be found under the Giving section below.

We now have 231 parishioners signed up for the Hallow App! Our next parish prayer challenge begins Monday, November 17, featuring the Surrender Novena. This prayer initiative is part of our #iGiveCatholic campaign, through which we aim to raise $32,000 to repair the church organ. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.

Let us continue to pray, learn, serve and grow together as one parish family.

Help Us Raise Funds to Repair Our Organ!

Advanced Giving Begins Monday, November 17

Our parish is participating in #iGiveCatholic on #GivingTuesday, a 24-hour giving day where we are inviting parishioners to come together as one Catholic community to Give Catholic.

This is our first year to participate in the #iGiveCatholic Campaign. Archbishop Shelton Faub had good results from this initiative in his former diocese of Houma Thibodeaux and brought this to Louisville via the Office of Mission Advancement two years ago. There have been 31 parishes in our Archdiocese who have participated and have had great success. We are hoping to raise $32,000 to help make repairs to our organ in the church. Your generous support will make a meaningful difference to the mission of our parish.

Advanced giving will start on Monday, November 17 – December 1. The 24-hour online giving day will be on Tuesday, December 2 from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. All gifts you make to St. Patrick will make an impact by allowing us to make much needed upgrades to the organ. With your help, we will reach our $32,000 goal for #iGiveCatholic. Every prayer and every dollar are much appreciated.
