MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

We had a wonderful parish mission with The Doug and Dave Show the past two evenings. I want to thank Tammy Kessler, other staff, the Adult Faith Formation team, and the many volunteers that made it a fun, faith-filled, and inspirational event. Special thanks, as well, to everyone who attended and participated!

The planned pilgrimage to the Holy Land that was set for May has been rescheduled to this coming fall from October 27-November 6 with an optional addition of a trip to Jordan from November 6-10. Please see information below under Joining Together if you are interested in joining me on this pilgrimage opportunity.

Also, you will notice numerous events on our calendar below. Please take a look at the opportunities during the next few weeks and see which of those may be where God is calling you to join in or serve. Thanks!

We had the blessing of throats after masses this weekend due to the Memorial for St. Blaise, bishop and martyr, on February 3. He is the patron saint for those suffering from throat illnesses. With the rise of winter illnesses, I’d like to close with his blessing for all.

Through the intercession of St. Blaise, bishop and martyr, may God deliver you from every disease of the throat and every other illness! In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Peace,

Fr. Jeff
